Article summary

On 21 October 2007, during a standard bird ringing session, we were surprised to capture, at Awirs (Liege province), a Blyth’s Pipit (Anthus godlewskii). In this note, we describe the circumstances of the capture, the essential elements for identifying the bird, and the situation of this very rare species which, however, is more and more frequent in Europe.
