Article summary

Since 1979, Organbidexha Col Libre has been conducting a study in the Pyrenees. Black Storks migrate between mid-august and mid-october and cross the Pyrenees essentially via the extremities of the chain. Birds travel during the hottest hours of daytime and are generally little grgarious. Seasonal distribution of age-ratio is also studied. Concerning demographic trends, the number of transpyrenean Black Storks has strongly increased since 1981.
