Article summary

This study highlights the differences in status of the three species of the Herring Gull complex (Yellow-legged, Herring and Caspian Gull) in the Entre-Sambre-et-Meuse region in the south of Belgium. Origins, variations in number and age during a year, differences in number and phenology between species, routes taken by some individuals, as well as some considerations specific to the study area and nearby are discussed.
