Collisions of birds with windows : more than thirty years observations in Sart-Tilman (Belgium).
Collisions of birds with windows of the upper levels of a building in the middle of a forest have been noted during thirty-four years. The phenomenon depends on three factors : the relative height of trees and building, the distance between trees and windows and the cleanness of the window-pane and its lighting. The number of strikes for Goldcrest is particularly high.
