Article summary

A first wintering Glaucus Gull roosted from 24.12.80 to 14.02.81 at Mont-Saint-Guibert (Walloon Brabant, Belgium). On evenings, the bird used to join a night roosting place at 40 Km to the north. This wintering case is the first known instance where the species indulges in a long stay inland, though punctual sights are now increasing. On the belgian coast, the Glaucus Gull is a scarce but increasing bird also.
