Article summary

After nesting for the first time in 1981, the Melodious Warbler continued in 1982 the installation process started in Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxemburg. In the Grand Duchy, four songbirds were found in Gutland in 1982. In Belgium, the four nesting sites of 1981 were again occupied; in addition, three new sites found in Gaume (South of Luxemburg Province), one in Calestienne and four additional observationsor captures completed the whole of the particulars for 1982. The evolution of the status in these two countries is synonymous with the present progression of this species towards the north and north-east.
