Article summary

The present report deals principally with data for 1991. It confirms two new species for Belgium, the Whiterumped Sandpiper (Calidris fuscicollis) and the Black-eared Wheateater (Oenanthe hispanica). As for other noteworthy data, we quote a Green-Winged Teal (Anas crecca carolinensis), a Short-toed Eagle (Circaetus gallicus), a Pectoral Sandpiper (Calidris melanotos), a Stone Curlew (Burhinus oedicnemus) and a Little Bunting (Embeiiza pusilla), as well as additional data for 1990 about the Two-barred Crossbill. We remind readers that this report is essentially concerned with sightings in the French-speaking part of the country; for a complete information on sightings submitted for homologation in Belgium, you are advised to consult the B.A.H.C. Report (the Dutch-speaking Homologation Commission) published in "Oriolus".
