A nest of Nutcrackers (Nucifraga caryocatactes), coming from the Aples, dated from last century.
A nest of Nutcracker, collected in the (likely) French Alpes in the last century, was found in the collections of the Natural History Museum of Troyes (F). Officialy, the Nutcracker's nidification in France was proved in the 1970's.
