Article summary

Attacks of Serotine bats flying out of their nursing roost by Starlings and Common Swifts breeding in the vicinity of the way out were observed. These aggressive interactions were observed only four times out of more than 140 evenings of observation and appeared when young birds hatched. Those attacks are conected with nest site and offspring defence.
